Craft Beer Importers Canada Inc. was created in 2011 as a craft beer import agency, with its main office in Calgary, the heart of Western Canada. It was founded in September 2011 by two partners and craft beer enthusiasts. Whether it's craft beer from Italy or from British Columbia, starting up a brand or an already existing brand on the western Canadian Market, our highly-skilled craft beer specialists won't be outworked, or outdone. When it comes to Craft Beer, you won't find a team more passionate than Craft Beer Imports Canada. We love what we do, and that's helping producers and clients reach their full potential on the markets. We'd like to extend that same opportunity to you.  

Craft Beer Importers Canada Inc. was founded by beer enthusiasts with a clear mission: To be the largest craft beer import company in Canada by any measure. We will achieve this by building mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, customers, employees, regulators and shippers. We say what we will do and we will do what we say. We believe that a healthy business thrives in a healthy industry and will work to grow the industry as well as our business.

The growth in the craft beer market in Canada in the past years has been so enormous that it was only logical to solely focus on craft beer imports. We will achieve our mission to become the largest craft beer import company in Canada by providing the best beer and service to retail stores as well as HoReCa clients and consumers, which is also supported by our ”Craft Beer Education Program”.

Why craft beer? Now we certainly like wine, scotch, and other products as well. But after the high rise of the wine industry in the 1990s and 2000s, beer has become the new trendy lifestyle product. In our opinion, craft beer is more diverse and interesting, with more flavours to explore and discover. Surely, when you read through this page, you will understand our vision - to provide the best quality available to our customers.

In the past years we have found that many employees at retail stores or restaurants and bars are not familiar with craft beer. This is why we have invented our ”Craft Beer Education Series”. A series of education lessons, from one hour introduction lessions, to four hour advanced courses, this program is designed for our brands we (will) carry, but it also features classic beers from around the world. It provides the distributor and retailer an opportunity to educate their sales personnel prior to the initiation of the selling process, thus, establishing a new special link between importer, distributor, retailer, and ultimate consumer.

Christian has been working and importing craft beer since 2008, building up one of the largest craft beer portfolios in western Canada. Christian brings the sales and administrative knowledge as well as the creative design part to the company, as well as the sales force.

Our sales team consists of highly professional craft beer enthusiasts. All of our sales and product consultants undergo extensive testing and training as to their knowledge of the beer and craft beer industry. Surely in some provinces we have contracted the sales to "Sub-Agencies" that meet the same criteria as our own sales team. This is to ensure that the craft beers we import are represented the best possible way.
